Bamboo Iris

We feel for the plight of the Iris - so often overlooked, so often written off. The Annie's Annuals & Perennials grown “Bamboo Iris” is a lovely, easy to grow addition to any garden, and we have them in stock right now, too!

Annie's describes it as a "groundcovering perennial", meaning, super easy to grow, it spreads nicely (but not invasive) - it's perfect for that funky strip on the side of your house that never seems to work. This low water plant tolerates both wet AND dry soil, likes filtered to full shade - it's super versatile, the only thing you need to keep an eye out for are snails, but you gotta be doing that anyway, right? Oh, and those blooms pictured below? Vanilla scented, stunning, and prolific all spring long!
